for Samahang Lazaro Francisco

SARO is the official literary journal of the Samahang Lazaro Francisco (SLF), a literary organization based in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

As of this writing, the SLF has released three issues of SARO. These journals showcase poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction in both English and Filipino written by Neoecijano Writers.

The namesake, Lazaro Francisco, is a National Artist for Literature and has made a significant impact on the development of the Filipino novel.
